The buildings of this ancient house date from the 12th Century, and seen from any prospect, the sober and elegant architecture reflects the long passage of time.
Not only is this a prestigious residence, but it is also a splendid park of 2 hectares in the heart of the orchards of Tarascon, at the foothills of the Alps and adjacent to the Camargue.
It is situated at the foot of the 'Alpilles' and on the edge of the Camargue, a short distance from Avignon, St Rémy de Provence, Arles and Nîmes. Our historic and distinctive mansion house, dating from the 15th century, provides luxury accommodation, air-conditioned comfort and 'table d'hôtes' evening meals.
The mas of Provence almost always has an orientation in the south, thus offering a protection to the mas against the Mistral. The openings of the mas are absent in north and rather narrow in order to be protected elsewhere from heat in summer and the cold in winter.
